Dear Parents and Students,

Hi Students,

Well we made it to the end of the school year.  What a very different year it has been!  I really missed seeing all your faces and teaching you music as a class!  When I was able to send out assignments through MusicPlay I enjoyed grading and commenting on your assignments.

You all did well identifying So-Mi pitches.  The instrument lessons using Peter and The Wolf music helped you identify instruments to animal sounds.  I know you can identify notes and rests.  Thank you for your new verse to “Goin On a Picnic” or Down By the Bay”.  Lastly, you shared what your favorite instrument is, saying why and which family it belongs to.

So you’ve learned and worked hard in music during this unusual teaching and learning time.  Unfortunately, I won’t be teaching music next year at Sunny Hills.  I’ve been reassigned to Issaquah Valley Elementary and Cascade Ridge.  I will miss you all very much!  Your new music teacher will be Mr. Mather who loves teaching music!

I wish you a fun summer and don’t forget to practice the Quaver 5:

  1. Be Safe

  2. Be Polite

  3. Be Responsible

  4. Be Cooperative

  5. B Kind

Warmly,

Mrs. Robson
